SCOTT MOE'S BUDGET DOES NOT HELP SASKATCHEWAN WORKERS AND FAMILIES
This budget shows that Scott Moe and the Sask Party do not care about supporting workers and families.
Scott Moe’s budget fails to provide Saskatchewan workers and families with the help they need at an increasingly tough time.
From no actionable relief from the uncontrollable cost of groceries and gas to keeping workers suffering with the lowest minimum wage in Canada, this budget once again shows that Scott Moe and the Sask Party do not care about supporting workers and families.
We cannot let them get away with this.
On top of providing inadequate support to workers, with this budget, they also continue to starve public services that we all rely on.
With this budget, Scott Moe and the Sask Party are making the crisis in our healthcare system - that they are responsible for - even worse. They are moving forward with privatizing our healthcare system, making seniors and others pay to access necessary healthcare services while growing wait times in the public system at the same time.
Moreover, our schools and post-secondary institutions remain overcrowded and underfunded, while utility rates keep rising.
With the province’s surplus, Scott Moe and the Sask Party decided to cut and privatize instead of helping you.
