INCREASE EDUCATION FUNDING NOW
THE SASK PARTY'S 2022/23 BUDGET DOESN’T EVEN COME CLOSE TO COVERING COSTS. OUR KIDS DESERVE BETTER.
For years, the Sask Party has neglected to properly fund our public education system and they have gotten away with it.
And now, the Sask Party’s 2022/23 provincial budget does not come close to covering basic operating costs for schools.
While independent private schools continue to get significant money, our public schools are barely getting by.
We already see the negative impacts:
- Larger class sizes across Saskatchewan.
- Layoffs.
- Cuts to hours for support staff.
- Loss of specialists.
And who is paying the price for the Sask Party government’s chronic underfunding?
Our students. Our kids.
And more cuts are on the way.
Enough is enough.
Send a message to your MLA, Education Minister and Premier to demand the education funding that our kids deserve.
Education funding that is adequate and keeps up with the cost of inflation so that our school divisions don’t have to make cuts.
It’s not too late for the Sask Party government to do the right thing.
